Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 20, 2025

This Privacy Policy explains how Tevix handles information in connection with the Tevix mobile application, the Tevix support and legal pages, and related product experiences. Tevix is designed as a guided beauty workflow that includes account access, selfie-based Skin Read, matched looks, try-on preview, finish controls, saved results, boards, and Apple billing support. By using Tevix, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Tevix collects and maintains information associated with your use of the service. The information categories visible in the current Tevix codebase include account-profile information, photo-based beauty inputs, generated outputs, board content, purchase-linked product identifiers, and app records needed to present your library and studio experience.

If you choose or capture a selfie or other portrait photo that contains a face, Tevix treats that image as face data for the beauty workflow. In the current product, face data consists of the selected face photo, derived Skin Read summaries and visible complexion metrics, and generated preview or result images created from that photo. Tevix does not use face data for face recognition, biometric identification, identity verification, or law-enforcement purposes.

Profile information in the current app model can include an account identifier, display name, email address, age range, skin type, skin tone, style focus, goals, and a created-at timestamp. The profile editing screen currently exposes display name, email, and style focus directly to the user. The product may also keep session state indicating whether the account is active so it can route you into the appropriate screen when you reopen the app.

Tevix also maintains content records connected with the beauty workflow, including source selfies, processed result images, Skin Read summaries and metrics, look selections, look intensity, board titles, board notes, board items, imported reference images, and timestamps associated with saved results or boards. When a saved look is added to a board, Tevix creates a board item that is stored alongside that board experience.

In addition, the current product records a purchase-history list of Apple product identifiers that can be used to present coin balance inside the app. Tevix may also create technical records needed to present saved content references, included starter content, and app-shell continuity.

2. Permissions We Request

Tevix requests permissions that correspond to visible product actions. If you choose to take a photo, Tevix requests camera access. If you choose a selfie from your photo library or import reference images into a board, Tevix requests photo-library access. If you export a final frame back to Photos, Tevix requests permission to add images to your photo library.

The app also supports Apple’s app-tracking authorization prompt for attribution and campaign measurement services that are separate from face-photo processing. Tevix does not request microphone access as part of the current selfie, Skin Read, preview, finish, save, or export workflow.

3. How We Use Information

Tevix uses information to operate the guided beauty workflow and the supporting account, library, board, and store surfaces. That includes routing you into the correct screen after Fast Login, showing your profile and style focus, performing Skin Read, generating matched looks and preview images, preserving saved results, managing board content, displaying balance information, and supporting export and deletion flows.

Tevix also uses the information it keeps to present continuity in the app. For example, the service can remember a prior result in Library, reopen a saved look into the guided flow, or show your coin balance in Studio and Home after a purchase update.

4. Face Data and On-Device Processing

In the current Tevix codebase, face photos are processed on the device inside the app to calculate visible-complexion metrics, produce Skin Read summaries, render look previews, and generate saved beauty outputs. The current product flow reviewed for this Policy does not upload face photos or derived face metrics to a third-party AI provider for remote face analysis.

Unsaved working photos and draft outputs may be held in app memory while the active workflow is open. If you choose to save a result or add an image to a board, Tevix writes the related image files to the app’s local sandbox on your device so the saved content can be reopened later.

5. How Information Is Shared

Tevix does not describe a public community feed, public profile page, or in-app social posting feature in the current codebase. Sharing in the current product flow is instead tied to limited product operations and platform services.

  • No third-party face-data sharing for analysis. Tevix does not share face photos, derived Skin Read metrics, or generated face-related beauty outputs with third-party AI providers, advertising networks, or external analytics processors for face analysis in the current product flow.
  • Apple and platform billing services. Purchase processing is tied to Apple billing flows, and Tevix uses Apple-linked product identifiers to update purchase history and display balance-related information inside the app.
  • User-directed photo export. If you export a finished image to Photos, iOS saves a copy to your photo library at your direction. That export is initiated by the user and is separate from Tevix’s local in-app storage.
  • Linked-page handling. When you open Privacy or Terms&Conditions links from Tevix, the app uses an in-app browser view to display the linked page.
  • Legal or safety reasons. Tevix may disclose information if required by law, regulation, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the service, users, or others.
  • Business transitions. If Tevix is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of assets, information associated with the service may be part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

6. Retention

Unsaved working face photos and draft outputs are used for the active beauty workflow and are not written to long-term local storage unless you choose to save a result or add content to a board. Saved source images, generated result images, board copies, and profile information remain in the app’s local storage until you delete the individual result, remove the board item, delete the board, or delete the account.

The current app supports deleting individual results, removing board items, deleting boards, logging out, clearing included content paths, and deleting the account. Logging out does not by itself erase saved local results or boards. When you delete the account through the current in-app flow, Tevix removes the profile, locally stored results, boards, and purchase-history records reflected in the app. Apple billing records remain subject to Apple’s own retention and App Store practices.

7. Your Choices

You can control a number of information-handling choices directly in Tevix. Those choices include editing profile details, selecting which photo to analyze, deciding whether to save or delete a result, exporting or not exporting a final frame, deleting saved looks, removing board items, deleting boards, logging out, and deleting the account.

You may also control device permissions for camera and photo access through your operating-system settings. If a required permission is denied, some Tevix features may not be available or may not complete successfully. The app does not presently expose a direct contact email or web form in business code reviewed for this site, but support resources are available through the Tevix Support page.

8. Security

Tevix uses measures designed to protect information connected to the service and to limit unauthorized access, use, alteration, or deletion. Those measures may include app-level access controls, platform permissions, product-logic constraints, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service.

No method of transmission, storage, or electronic protection is completely secure, and Tevix cannot guarantee absolute security. You should use current device security features and keep your own device access appropriately protected.

9. Children

The current Tevix codebase reviewed for this site does not include a dedicated children’s mode or an age-gating workflow. Tevix is intended for users who can understand and manage a guided beauty workflow and the permissions it requests. If you believe a child has provided information to Tevix in a way that is inconsistent with applicable law, please use the Tevix Support page so the issue can be reviewed.

10. Changes to This Policy

Tevix may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, platform updates, or revised information-handling practices. When Tevix updates this Policy, it will revise the Effective Date above and post the updated version through the Tevix legal surface.

The current app build reviewed for this site does not expose a dedicated in-app policy-version tracker. Your continued use of Tevix after an updated Policy becomes effective means the updated Policy applies, subject to applicable law.

11. Contact

For support related to this Privacy Policy or the Tevix app experience, please use the Tevix Support page available at sublime.tevix.beer/Support.html. The current business code reviewed for this site does not disclose a dedicated support email address or contact form. If Tevix adds a direct contact route in a future release, this Policy may be updated accordingly.
